I’ve come full circle.
I started Paper Goodness way back in 2006 as a way to feature scrapbooking goodies. If you’re a scrapbooker, you know that there’s always something new to ogle, buy and use for our hobby. So I sourced new papers, tools, and embellishments (with more than 1,000 blog posts to show for it).
Along the way, however, my interests changed. Or maybe I should say, they expanded.
Family commitments increased. I found myself with less and less time to devote to the never-ending parade of scrapbook goodness. Even though I got some help with the blog for a short while, I eventually had to put it on indefinite hold.
Today, I’m happy to say that the hold has been lifted. Paper Goodness is back on the scene!
Even though I didn’t know it then, I’d already begun the process of shifting Paper Goodness to this new focus, having already written about creativity and productivity.
It’s a combination that I continue to aspire to and pursue in my life.
With so much going on (personal + business + kids + other stuff), I have to find a way to become more effective in the way I go through my day.
At the same time, creativity is something I need. It’s like air, almost.
The one thing that’s consistent through all of this? Paper.
I love paper.
It’s an essential tool. It makes me happy. I can’t stay away from it. Neither do I want to.
So, the new (again) Paper Goodness is fully embracing its paper legacy.
Productivity + Creativity. On Paper.
Of course, a rebirth in content demands a new blog design. Do you like it? Let me know in the comments!
