Paper Goodness Celebrate Scrapbooking

Desktop Calendar from Hip 2b Square

December 30, 2008 by Maricar

Do you have all your calendars for 2009? This time of year, calendars are some of the most popular papercrafting products you can make. Here’s one from Hip 2b Square Scrapbooking.

This desktop calendar doubles as a mini photo album. One side has the monthly calendars and the other side has space for photos.

You can make this from mini file folders bound with jump rings. Make it as thick and as scrapliciously chunky as you like! Pile on the ribbons and all the embellishments you want. Ink the edges for an easy-to-do uniform look throughout.

The rest of the calendar is here.

Sticklers by Sakura

December 9, 2008 by Maricar

sticklers-sakura

Sticklers are self-adhesive metallic die-cut stickers that can be colored in using 3-D pens like Glaze or Souffle Sakura pens. Glaze pens give a glossy transparent effect, while Souffle pens offer matte opaque pastel colors. Combine the two pens for a unique effect.

They’re very easy to use for cards, stationery, cell phones, MP3 players, mirrors, PDAs, and yes, scrapbook pages! I used them to give new life to old tags.
