Coordinates Collections: Monthly ‘3 Sketches’ Contest

Monthly ‘3 Sketches’ contest: Each month we will post 3 sketches — a 2-page layout; a 1-page layout; and a card. You may create as many projects as you wish using one, two or all three of the sketches for the month.
When you have created your layout(s)/card from the sketches, you are to
• Post it in the CC Gallery under ‘Contests and Challenges’
• Include ‘(month) sketch’ in the title
• Post a link of that project into the thread for that sketch on the Message Board
One lucky winner will receive a fun prize from CC!
Cropstar June 2010 Sketches Contest

Create a 12×12 layout, 8×12 layout, 8×8 layout or card using the sketch seen here. One entry per sketch per person. Completed work should be loaded to the Cropstar Sketch and Challenge Gallery at Flickr. Also, please leave a comment (click on one of the sketches to get to the comment section) so they know to check out your work.Deadline for posting your layout to the above stated gallery is June 30, 2010 at 11:59 pm EST.
One lucky winner will receive a fun prize from Cropstar and will be announced on or about July 1, 2010.
Sorry, but they are unable to accept international based applications i.e. Canada, Europe, Australia, etc. at this time.
Creative Cookbooking – Iron Chef Cropetition

The Creative Cookbooking team would like to invite you to join us for a week long crop starting April 26th and going through May 3rd, 2010. There will be fabulous challenges, tutorials, games and lots of PRIZES!
If you are competing for the Iron Chef guest designer position, then there are a few more things you should know!
This challenge will be posted Friday evening, May 1st and is due Sunday, May 3rd, 11:59 p.m. MST If you’ve ever watched the show on Food Network, you know there is always a “secret ingredient” that is used in each dish. Each competitor will choose one layout from a current Chef to lift. The secret ingredient must be used in some way, shape or form on your entry layout. Judging will be based on originality, presentation, and creativity. The judging panel will consist of all forum members. A poll will be posted on Monday, May 4th and a winner will be announced on Wednesday, May 6th.
The winner, based on voting results, will be the Iron Chef Guest Designer during the month of June!

Scrap It Forward

Scrap it Forward is having a call for two Guest Designers!
How do you enter…? EASY…just play along and participate in this challenge. Make something for someone, be it a mini book, a scrapbook page, an altered item or card…WHATEVER. It just has to be crafty. Then once you have made something that you feel good about, leave them a comment and link your creation in your post. The Guest Designer Spots will be for a 3 month run! So please only play along if you are down with that ;0). They would love to have you join them!
This challenge will run until the end of the month….that is Wednesday March 31. Winners will be announced on April 2nd.
So what’s in it for you?
*Well first of all you will be working with a fun and happy bunch (okay well maybe not a bunch since there are only 2 of them, but you get the picture) who are crafty and care about making a difference in our world day to day.
*Not only that, you will get exposure to all our other peeps in blogland and the WWW.
* You will get a shiny Blog Button to put on your blog that says: I was a GDT at Scrap it Forward.
* Last you will get a small rak from me that you will be able to use on any of your upcoming challenges.
What are their expectations?
* Place the blog button on your blog proudly and promote their latest challenges online or wherever it may be appropriate..they are ging to rule out bathroom walls and locker rooms…but that’s about it.
*Participate in all challenges during your reign..(there will be approximately 5-6 of them)
*Feel free to share ideas for new challenges and/or charitible causes.
* Send in challenge projects 3-4 days before next challenges are posted.
*Have fun!
So now spread the word and start getting crafty. They bcan’t wait to see the goodies that come in!

Post a link of that project into the thread for that contest on the Message Board
Recently they have read in their forum that many of you wished that you used your stamps more often, well you are in LUCK because this month you will need to create a layout or cards using your STAMPS!!! So go dust those babies off and find your ink pads and start STAMPING!!
