*You must list iCopic.com, the iCopic blog, and the rest of the designers in your blog sidebar with links (if you don’t know how, your DT leader will help you, so don’t worry).
* Weekly projects posted to your blogs must also be posted to another online gallery such as Splitcoast Stampers, scrapbook.com, etc (again, if you don’t know how, we will help you!)
* On a rotating basis, you may be asked to design a project for our weekly color combo challenge using the colors given to you in advance.

Closing Date of Call: October 2, 2010

Description of Call:

Scrap Attack Scrapbooking is looking for designers to add to their team and they would be honored to add you as a key part of our family! As a design team member your primary role will be to help showcase the newest products we sell. Their designers work is featured within our Creative Gallery as well as our Online Store. Your exposure in the store is phenomenal because they link the products you use to the layouts you create. They are looking for individuals who are creative, committed to showing off your best work 150% of the time, passionate about scrapping, can comply with deadlines and participate actively and positively on our message board. Do you think you have what it takes to be a {SAS}sy designer?

* They do accept international applicants, however due to the costs involved in shipping supplies overseas the designer will be responsible for the difference in shipping domestically and internationally (Canadian shipments are typically only a few dollars.) They apologize for the inconvenience and welcome you to become a part of the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Message Board as another option.

Design Team member responsibilities include:

* Create a minimum of 5 – 12×12 unique and inspiring scrapbook layouts each month to display in our galleries. (8 ½ x 11 layouts are also accepted.)

* Agree to a 6 month commitment of November 1, 2010-April 30, 2011.

* Sign and return a Design Team contract. Failure to return or comply with the rules in the contract will result in termination from the team.

* Take well photographed pictures of your layouts, as well as closer images of details when possible.

* Actively promote Scrap Attack Scrapbooking on your blog, Facebook, twitter or any other websites where rules allow.

* As a design team member you are an extension of our site so you will be expected to act in a professional manner both on our site and on other sites you visit.

* Actively participate in the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Message Board. If you feel you can not actively participate in our Message Board at this time, they would suggest waiting until you can fully make that commitment. While scrapbooking is the passion we all share, as a design team member you will also be asked to actively promote the store and the products they sell.

Design Team Member Benefits:

* Receive FREE monthly supplies (Retail value $35-45) at no cost to you. Scrap Attack Scrapbooking will pay the shipping and handling on your design team supplies. In return for supplies, we retain the right to display your work in our galleries after your term ends.

* 35% off all purchases from the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking store during the duration of your term. (35% off original prices when you take an additional 25% off our already reduced {SAS}sy store prices.)

The Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Design Team will be chosen by the store owner. When filling a design team they are looking for all types of scrapbooking styles so everyone is welcome to apply. Current and past design team members are eligible to reapply. Every site you design for should have your full dedication. Therefore they will choose designers who are on less than 3 design teams, one of which would be Scrap Attack Scrapbooking. If you are already on 3 design teams, we’d encourage you to apply when your commitments are less than 2 design teams (this includes sketch sites, challenge sites, online sites and local scrapbook stores.)

In order to apply for the {SAS}sy Design Team, submit the following by Midnight Pacific Time, October 2, 2010 to ScrapAttackDT-AT-Q-DOT-com. You may use any paper or embellishments that you would like, however no digital applicants please. Your projects should be “new” and created for this design team call only and not posted anywhere else until the design team announcement is made. You may either email the images or upload them to your Photobucket account and provide us with the links.

* 3 original, any size, brand new paper layouts.
* 1 creative technique that you have used on a layout (i.e making a pretty paper flower, some interesting distressing or using some glimmer mist or paints.)

Also, please answer the following questions in your email:

1. How long have you been scrapbooking?

2. What is the main subject of your pages (kids, pets, inanimate objects, etc.)

3. How many products do you typically use on a layout? Of those, how many are patterned papers?

4. Will you be able to actively participate in our message board, creative gallery and site in general? If not, please explain why.

5. How many pictures do you normally scrapbook on a page? Are you open to adjusting your scrapbook style to accommodate the supplies you receive in a given month or stepping outside the box?

6. What interested you in our site and why do you feel you should be chosen to be a part of the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Design Team?

7. Provide a list of current design teams & guest design teams that you are on and any communities (message boards) in which you are active. Remember to include links and your usernames. * Provide a link to any online galleries and scrapbook resumes you may have.

8. Have you ever served on any design teams in the past? If so, please provide those for verification.

Any falsification of the above information will result in disqualification of your application.

The Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Design Team will be announced no later than October 16, 2010. If you are interested in becoming part of our team but have questions, please email them at ScrapAttackScrapbooking-AT-MSN-DOT-Com. Otherwise, please submit your work to ScrapAttackDT-AT-Q-DOT-com by October 2, 2010 in order to be eligible for this wonderful opportunity.

Good luck to all those that apply, they can’t wait to see the wonderful talent that is out there.
