About Paper Goodness

My lifetime fondness for pretty paper turned up a notch when I discovered the hobby of scrapbooking in 2000. Throw in photography, the practice of preserving memories, and creative expression, and I was hooked! The dazzling array of scrapbook embellishments didn’t hurt either.

Though I know I could not possibly accumulate (or hope to use) all the scrapbooking supplies in the world, I still love to ogle them. Paper Goodness was born in July 2006 as an excuse to discover and admire all these wonderful products. There was always something new from the scrapbook industry. Each new tool or patterned paper collection was a reason to do a dance of joy.

Since then, my creative process has evolved. I am busier (now a wife and mom!), wiser (I hope), and more budget-conscious (did I say I’m a mom?). I still love new scrapbook products. But, in addition, I’ve also learned how to better integrate my busy life with this wonderful hobby.

Paper Goodness will continue to celebrate the joys we find in scrapbooking. However, there will be less emphasis on the goodies, and a better focus on effective scrapbooking. Never fear, though. If you want to find the old posts, they are still here. You can find them on the Site Archives page.
