Review: Kokuyo Dot Liner Acid-Free Tapes
ByIt would be a bad day if ever I run out of scrapbook adhesive. I always keep a good variety of tapes and glues in my stash. My newest adhesives are made by Kokuyo and were sent over by the good people of JetPens.com. I received two types of acid-free tapes, which I review below.
Kokuyo Dot Liner Power Acid Free Tape
This tape dispenser is shaped like other such products for scrapbookers. The slightly bigger size makes it easy to control where the tape goes. The permanent tape is applied in clean mess-free lines that can be hard to get when using liquid adhesive. The feature I really like about this tape, though, is the snap-back cover, which protects the tape until I’m ready to use it. Even if I drop it tape-side down on a pile of glitter, I can be sure the tape will remain clean for my pages! Available for purchase here.
Kokuyo Dot Liner 2-Way Type Acid Free Tape Stamp
When first looking at this adhesive, it looks just like other roll-on microdot adhesives. The glue is permanent and can be applied in straight lines or curves. But the really neat thing is that it can also be used as an adhesive stamp, with glue instead of ink! Just flip the cover over and press down vertically to stamp the glue on to the paper. I did have to get used to this at first, and press down firmly to get the glue to completely come off. But I love the idea of an adhesive stamp! Available here.
Both of these refillable adhesives are available at JetPens.com.
