New ScrapShopping Concept: Creative Cafe
By
Creative Imaginations designers Danelle Johnson and Alison Wong have come up with a new concept for combining scrap-shopping and creating pages.
Creative Café, in collaboration with AccuCut, Hampton Art, and Bazzill Basics Paper, is more than crafting supplies—it’s a way to foster an inspired, creative community. With this new concept, customers will be able to saddle up to an “art bar” stocked with candy store-like bins of coordinating items including bulk tags, buttons, felt, and chipboard, ribbon, rub-ons, stickers, papers, cards, chipboard, stamps and dies. And best of all, customers can work on their projects right there, interacting with other creative-minded crafters—meeting up with friends and making new ones in the process.
From holiday gifts, invitations, school projects, cards, planners or scrapbook pages, Creative Café is the place to make customers’ ideas come to life. Feeling stumped as to what to make? Creative Café offers quick and easy projects for “Happy Hour” once a week and will even e-mail customers a “Happy Hour” education plan with project recipes every month.
If what I see on that diagram is how it will appear in stores, I’ll be a regular! I love the “art bar” idea!

I pray they open one where I live – we have nothing like that!!!
