C-Thru Ruler

This item is not a paper product, I know. But I’ve found it to be an indispensable tool in my scrapbooking. It’s simply the best ruler I’ve ever found.

This clear plastic grid ruler is made by C-Thru and has the following features:

Heavy duty transparent plastic ruler. One edge is beveled, the other has a stainless steel edge for easy and safe cutting. Calibrations and grids visable on both light and dark surfaces. Graduated in 16ths to the inch. Zero centering scale.

The metal edge is very useful for cutting straight lines using a craft knife (for the times that I can’t use my paper trimmer for one reason or another). The centering scale is great for when I need to measure on either side of a page element. I’ve used the grids for making journaling lines and matting.

IMO, this is the best ruler out there. Available in 12″ and 18″ sizes. I got mine at Michael’s but it’s available at art supply stores too (both online and brick-and-mortar).
